I'm not sure the image editing or graphics creating suggestions are really free or virus free? The PicMonkey website has a free trial, but Cheezburger and Automotivator look sketchy.
I really enjoy how the Class Wiki has a link to take me to the next assignment for the week. This has been helping me to not miss an assignment and stay on track.

Hi Carli, just a quick note to say: not sketchy, I promise! I use Cheezburger all the time; it's kind of a social networking space, but I just jump in, make cats, jump out. Automotivator was built by a programmer just having fun, and it then got bought by a kind of odd company; they make money by selling poster prints of posters you make, but that only works if you start with super hi-res images, which is usually not the case for online images. I've used it for years. There are other motivator poster generators, of course: I just happen to like that one. PicMonkey was started by people from the old Picasa (before it got bought by Google); it's good fun, and again just one of MANY options. I share the tools I like to use, but that is one of the joys of the Internet: new tools all the time that you can explore. :-)
ReplyDeleteAbout viruses: OU IT has anti-virus software you can download. I use a Chromebook, though, so I'm not up on all the anti-virus options. But thanks for the reminder; I should go get the info from the IT Stores to share with people!
